HTC Sense 3.0 Release For Your HTC Smartphone?

According to HTC's twitterfeed, if you already own an HTC smartphone, even a newer HTC smartphone, it looks like you're not going to have the opportunity to install the new HTC Sense 3.0 when HTC releases it.

Don't believe us, check out the @HTC twitter response to @TomMannington's tweet as to whether or not the new Sense 3.0 UI will be available for his HTC Desire HD (screenshot above).  According to HTC, it looks like future owners of the HTC Flyer, HTC EVO 3D, and the HTC Sensation will be among the few lucky ones to run the new Sense UI while everyone else will be out of luck.

Of course, there's no doubt that developers will find a workaround once they get their hands on the new HTC Sense 3.0 release, but you will have to jump through some hoops to get it installed.  Regardless, it probably won't make any sense to do so as it looks like older HTC smartphones aren't being supported due to additional hardware requirements needed to power new Android skins that will be used in the HTC Sense 3.0 user interface.

As a result, you will probably experience lackluster performance out of the new UI unless your HTC smartphone is sporting a dual-core processor or 1.5GHz single-core processor (according to HTC Sense 3.0 rumors floating around the blogosphere).

Check out the hands on HTC Sense 3.0 UI video demo below to see what you'll be running on your new HTC smartphone or what you will be missing out on if you're a current HTC smartphone owner.  Those upgrades never come quick enough do they?
