It should come as no surprise that international consumers are experiencing iPad 2 shipping delays right out of the gate when they go online to buy Apple's new iPad 2.
Did you expect anything less? It seems like it's becoming in vogue for tech companies to hype soon to be released tech gadgets, scream supply constraints on the launch date, and then show everyone that it's a "must have gadget". If it takes nearly a month to get your hands on one, it must be great - right?
That being said, Australia was one of the first international countries to come online to sell the new iPad 2 when the clock struck March 25, 2011. If you would have gone to Apple's online store in Australia this morning, you would have been greeted with shipping delays ranging from 2-3 weeks as highlighted in the iPad 2 screenshot immediately below.
As of this later evening, iPad 2 shipping delays have increased to 3-4 weeks over at Apple's online store in Australia (iPad 2 screenshot immediately below). U.S. iPad 2 shipping delays are running in the 3-4 week range as well.
If you can't wait to get your hands on a new iPad 2, too bad, you're going to have to!
